Bill Gates: World needs fewer people

Software billionaire Bill Gates, who previously has advocated the reduction of the human population through the use of vaccines, and his wife Melinda marked the 100th year since the First International Eugenics Congress in London with a “family planning” summit with abortionists and the United Nations.

The July 11 event, co-hosted by the United Kingdom Department for International Development, included organizations such as Planned Parenthood, Marie Stopes International and the U.N. Populations Fund, as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Critics pointed out the summit was held 100 years after the July 1912 eugenics conference led by Leonard Darwin, the son of Charles Darwin, and dedicated to Darwin’s half-cousin Francis Galton.

Galton invented the term eugenics to promote the idea that strategic breeding would improve mankind….

Suicide Rates Double In July, Army Issues Nasal Spray

The military suicide rate doubled in July. Thats one of our troops, almost every day.

To come up with an answer, the Army recently gave 3 million dollars to a university of Indiana research center, and those researchers came back with this: Anti-Suicide Nasal Spray.

Katie Drummond of The Daily reports researchers found a naturally occuring neurochemical called thyrotropin-releasing hormone, or TRH, that has euphoric, calming, anti-depressant effects. News of the nasal spray comes as a relief to some, who had to endure spinal taps for injections of the medicine.

The Pentagon, which tracks military suicides, reported that troops have committed the act at an 18 percent increase over the same period last year. Now, more troops die by their own hands that by the hands of the Taliban in Afghanistan.

The spray is only possible because of advances in “nanotechnology delivery systems.” Researchers plan to run a full battery of trials over the next few years, and hopefully put the spray not only in the hands of soldiers, but civilians as well.

The scientists say that applications go beyond anti-depression medications.

Do Not Put God to the Test

The temptation to turn stones into bread, to turn what God has given us into what we want, is obviously relevant in our daily lives. This one may feel more remote to those of us who aren’t inclined to death-defying tests of faith. Nevertheless I think the underlying temptation—to do what is dangerous or destructive and tell ourselves that God will take care of the mess we are about to create—comes up in my daily life and in the lives of others whom I know.

It’s easiest for me to see it in other people, of course. I’ve had friends tell me that it doesn’t matter how badly we deplete and pollute the created world, because God will come again and make a new heaven and a new earth and take care of us there. This sounds to me like putting God to the test, and it doesn’t accord with the promise that those who have been faithful in little things will be trusted with great things.

I’m also learning to see this temptation in my own life. Too often I work carelessly, shoddily—sometimes because I’m exhausted, sometimes because I’m distracted by worries and daydreams. Too often I excuse myself on the grounds that I am doing Good Work—living in Christian community, tending the earth, caring for my neighbors… and surely God will make it all work out right without my having to take responsibility. Of course it doesn’t work.

I know sometimes we need to let go of human prudence. Not long after Jesus refuses to test God by leaping from the temple, he comes to his disciples walking on the water. And at the end of his ministry on earth he gives himself up willingly to death, and God raises him to life. The important thing is to venture out in response to God’s calling and not to our own pride or carelessness. I think that if we pay attention we can tell the difference.

Then the devil took Jesus to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.

“If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.”

Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”

Ex-Marine Arrested for Facebook-Posts Criticizing US Government August 2012

Last night at approximately 7:30pm, Brandon JRaub, founder of the Richmond Liberty Movement, was arrested. When friends came home they witnessed Brandon being detained by the Police, FBI, and Secret Service, loads of vehicles on scene. Video exists of evidence showing Brandon being taken away. Friends and family asked what had happened, they were told they were tipped off that Brandon had “posts” on his FB that led them to believe he was a danger to others and/or himself. Brandon believes 9/11 was an inside job and questions the actions of government like most of us. Brandon is a level headed, logical, non violent, Marine veteran. He has no known history of being a menace or previously arrested. They were told he would be taken to jail for resisting arrest. They were told he needed to be mentally evaluated for PTSD due to being a vet.

As of this morning his family and friends have contact the FBI and Local Police. They are now being told there is NO RECORD of him being taken into custody. This is the key turning point of this story. Video captures Michigan man’s shooting by police 46 times

Three days before Independence Day, Milton Hall died in a fusillade of police gunfire outside a strip mall.

He had been arguing with officers in a parking lot next to a shuttered Chinese restaurant when he was shot, in full view of passing motorists and while he was holding some sort of knife. Saginaw County Prosecutor Michael Thomas said later that the squad of police confronting him opened fire “because apparently, at this point in time, he was threatening to assault police.”

Thomas office and the Michigan State Police are investigating Halls death. Saginaw Police Chief Gerald Cliff said Hall was “known to be an assaultive person” with “a long history” of contacts with law enforcement, “not only with police from our department but with the county.”

Halls cousin, Mike Washington, acknowledged Hall had been jailed for minor offenses like vagrancy in the past, but, “He was not violent.” And Halls mother is growing impatient with the probe and questions why police opened fire so furiously on her son, whom she said was mentally ill….

Social Security Administration says hollow point bullets necessary for staffs safety

The US Social Security Administration wants Americans to know that they are concerned with the safety of their workers. That is why, they now say, they’ve ordered 174,000 rounds of lethal hollow-point bullets.

Responding to reports centered on the SSA’s recent request for tens of thousands of rounds of high-power, heavy duty ammunition, the agency tasked with assisting the elderly and disabled with federally funded benefit packages has attempted to explain their invitation for ammo makers to make them a deal.

“Our special agents need to be armed and trained appropriately,” a blog post from the SSA office explains. “They not only investigate allegations of Social Security fraud, but they also are called to respond to threats against Social Security offices, employees and customers.

Days after the SSA published a solicitation online for a lot of .357 Duty Carry Sig 125 grain bonded JHP hollow point bullets, the agency says there is nothing especially unusual about their request.

» U.S. Troops To Get New Headgear For “Homeland Security Operations”

The U.S. Army is planning to develop new protective headgear for soldiers that will shield them from ballistic munitions, small arms ammunition and blunt trauma as part of missions that will include “homeland security operations.”

A solicitation on behalf of the Army Contracting Command asks for potential vendors to present proposals for the development and production of new headgear as part of the Soldier Protection System SPS.

“This head protection ensemble is planned to replace the current helmet system. The SPS will provide the Soldier multiple levels of ballistic protection that can be tailored to select mission profiles and protection against specific threats from conventional fragmenting munitions, small arms ammunition, and blunt impact. Soldiers equipped with the SPS will be able to accomplish a broad range of missions. The SPS will protect Soldiers involved in major combat operations, stability operations, homeland security operations, joint operating concepts, and the joint force functional concept,” states the solicitation.

Developers are asked to present white papers featuring details of the helmet systems by no later than September 4….
